  5. The ABS Point of Sale System is designed for retail and/or wholesale businesses
  6. that need to generate at-counter customer invoices and monitor product
  7. inventory levels. This easy-to-use system improves employee cash handling
  8. efficiency and accuracy by displaying all cash transaction data. It supports up
  9. to 14 user-defined payment types. It also supports split tender payments, unit
  10. of measure pricing (including metric pricing) and "look up" features that allow
  11. the user to view product, price, and customer information directly on the
  12. terminal. The reports generated include margin, price, inventory valuation,
  13. minimum on hand, and daily summary. For multistore chains and franchises, a
  14. remote store processing addon is available.The system interfaces with these ABS
  15. modules: Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Purchase Order Management.
  16. Single and multi-user versions are available. The version 6 release includes
  17. windows, search routines, hot keys, and an online calculator.
